TMC Bonham Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that includes both primary care and specialty physicians.? The Critical Access Hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient services along with 24-hour emergency services.? The Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Program was established to assure access to healthcare services for rural residents.? Position Summary:? The RN has multiple roles and functions including care-giver, decision-maker, client advocate, manager, rehabilitator, comforter, communicator, and teacher. The functions include assessment of the nursing needs of the patient, initiation of the plan of care of nurse action, implementation of the plan of care and the evaluation of the process, by use of the nursing process. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice. The RN promotes the dignity and quality of the nursing care given to the patient.


Education: Must possess a current Texas Registered Nurse license or if recently graduated, has a valid permit to practice professional nursing.


Experience:? Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school, recent ER experience preferred.? Professional demeanor.? Knowledge and practice in effective customer relations.? Orientation individualized based on the applicants needed.?


License/Certifications:? Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC if an experienced ER nurse.? PALS and TNCC within one year of date of hire if not an experienced nurse.? This position reports to the ER Director.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
