Summary: _
The position of the certified medication aide ensures that all inmate/detainees have the proper dosage and distribution of medication.
_ Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: _
Maintains stock of drugs, ensures that storage of drugs follows prescribed conditions of temperature and humidity, and verifies that all drugs are labeled properly.
Prepares daily medications pack for offenders.
Distributes medication and instructs offender in proper application/consumption of medication.
Records each distribution of medication in offender's medical file.
Performs other related duties as required.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
_ Education and
Experience: _
High school diploma or equivalent
Candidate can have no experience but must hold a current Medication Aide Certificate
Valid Driver's license required
